WHO KEEPS TRACK OF THIS?
When devices with scanned ID information or Excel formatted lists of attendees (and their student numbers) are returned to the IT Office in Shipman, attendance is entered into the college's databases. These records are available to those auditing degree candidates for graduation. A list of attendee names & student numbers is emailed to the event's contact person. Contact the event's organizer or sponsor with any questions you have about your attendance, soon after the event.

CAN STUDENTS PROPOSE EVENTS THAT WILL QUALIFY AS ROE-CCS?
Student organizations can. You need to work with your faculty advisor or another college staff member. Click here to fill out a Google a form. An event designated as an ROE-CC even will likely: relate strongly to the Adrian College mission and at least one Ribbon of Excellence, be intended for 25 or more students, expand beyond typical classroom experiences and encourage students to experience something new or less familiar.

HOW CAN I GET MY ORGANIZATION'S PLANNED EVENT ENDORSED AS AN ROE-CC?
Please fill out form for ROE Endorsed Events (click here to fill out a Google form). The form will be submitted to the Academic Planing Committee by email attachment to [email protected]. This form must be submitted well in advance of your event as this committee meets about once a month during the Fall and Spring semesters.

HOW MUCH IN ADVANCE SHOULD I SUBMIT MY EVENT?
Forms are due one week before a committee meeting; the committee meets during the Fall and Spring semesters once a month on a Friday. Feel free to submit an event as soon as you know about it, and try to submit events that will occur early in Fall semester in time for the March or April committee meeting. Sometimes the committee can obtain emailed approval for events on shorter notice. This is difficult at the very start of Fall semester when membership on the committee changes. In addition, some events benefit from the more extended discussion that can occur at committee meetings.

HOW DO I RESEVE SPACE FOR MY EVENT? WHAT IF I NEED MICROPHONES OR OTHER AUDIO OR VISUAL EQUIPMENT?

You should arrange for your space and check to see if it can accommodate your event’s needs before you submit your ROE-CC proposal form.
